Esta investigaci?n tuvo como prop?sito: Configurar una aproximaci?n te?rica sobre los valores inmersos en el nivel medio educativo. Se fundament? en las teor?as axiol?gicas de: Hofstede (1984), Schwartz (1992), Rokeach (1973), Cortina (2003), Vasco (1989), Kelly (2003), Vel?squez (2009), entre otros, Se realiz? en la I.E. Besito Volao, bajo el Paradigma interpretativo, enfoque cualitativo, m?todo hermen?utico. Como informantes claves fueron seleccionados: 2 directivos y 3 docentes. Se utiliz? como t?cnicas e instrumentos: la entrevista, diario de campo y an?lisis de documentos. Para la interpretaci?n de la informaci?n se asumi?: la Categorizaci?n, estructuraci?n, contrastaci?n y teorizaci?n, Entre los hallazgos encontrados con relaci?n a las ideas rectoras de los documentos que fundamentan el car?cter axiol?gico de la educaci?n media de Colombia, se analizaron La Ley 115 de MEN, donde se establece: el desarrollo de habilidades destrezas y conocimiento sobre ciudadan?a y convivencia, la Formaci?n de valores ?ticos. Inculcar el Modelo democr?tico. Impartir la c?tedra denominada competencias ciudadanas con tres componentes: Movilizaci?n social, Acompa?amiento en las pr?cticas educativas y Gesti?n del conocimiento. En su art?culo 7, se encontr? como idea rectora, la familia como generador de valores en el proceso educativo y en el Documento de la UNESCO, se encontr? que se debe dar una educaci?n de calidad integrando valores, contenidos, experiencias y aprendizajes positivos en las dimensiones personales, sociales y ?ticas de los estudiantes. Y de la informaci?n obtenida de los informantes claves, se plantear?n reflexiones para crear un marco adecuado de valores, en funci?n de las nuevas exigencias de la sociedad, las cuales dan pautas para orientar y que sirvan de gu?a a las acciones a realizar en esa Instituci?n Educativa, donde la prioridad ser? la preparaci?n para el ejercicio docente y la formaci?n ?tica para que permita un ejercicio profesional responsable y por ende beneficios al contexto educativo. The purpose of this research was: To establish a theoretical approach to values immersed in the educational level. Its theoretical foundation was based on the axiological theories of Hofstede (1984), Schwartz (1992), Rokeach (1973), Cortina (2003), Vasco (1989), Kelly (2003), Vel?zquez (2009), among others performed in the IE Besito Volao, under the Interpretative Paradigm, qualitative approach, hermeneutical method. As key informants were selected: 2 managers and 3 teachers. Interviews, field diary and document analysis were used as techniques and instruments. Among the findings found in relation to the guiding ideas of the documents that base the axiological character of the average education of Colombia, the Law 115 of MEN was analyzed, where it is established: the development of skills skills and knowledge about citizenship and coexistence, the formation of ethical values. Inculcate the democratic model. Provide the chair called citizen competencies with three components: Social mobilization, Accompaniment in educational practices and Knowledge management. In its article 7, as a guiding idea, the family as a generator of values in the educational process and in the UNESCO Document, it was found that a quality education should be provided integrating values, content, experiences and positive learning in the personal, social and ethical dimensions of students. And from the information obtained from the key informants, reflections will be made to create an adequate framework of values, in accordance with the new demands of society, which give guidelines to guide and guide the actions to be performed in that Institution Educational, where the priority will be the preparation for the teaching exercise and the ethical training to allow a responsible professional exercise and therefore benefits to the educational context Keywords: axiological character, educational process, citizen training, ethics ?
