El objetivo general del presente trabajo es proponer la adaptaci?n de un modelo de gesti?n de Tecnolog?a de Informaci?n (TI) para la Oficina de Direcci?n de Sistemas y Tecnolog?a de la Universidad de Cundinamarca. Se inicia con el repaso de algunas teor?as y definiciones respecto al tema de gobierno y gesti?n de TI, y estudio de los marcos referentes como son el ISO 38500 y COBIT, estos est?n dedicados al gobierno e implementaci?n de gobierno y gesti?n de TI en las organizaciones. Tambi?n, se analizaron los referentes de otras Universidades en Espa?a y Colombia en las cuales se han realizado investigaciones referentes a la gobernanza y gesti?n de TI. Se desarroll? una investigaci?n no experimental cuantitativa; se observ? la administraci?n de TI en la Universidad de Cundinamarca en su contexto natural y se realiz? entrevista y encuesta al jefe de la Oficina de Sistemas y Tecnolog?as de la Ucundinamarca. Como conclusi?n general se espera que este trabajo sea el arranque de las directivas de la Universidad para llevar acabo la implementaci?n del modelo de gesti?n de TI, y llegar a ser una instituci?n competitiva en el orden de la educaci?n superior en Colombia.

The main objective of this paper is to propose the adaptation of an Information Technology (IT) management model for the Office of Systems and Technology Management at the University of Cundinamarca. It begins with a review of some theories and definitions related to IT governance and management, and a study of the reference frameworks such as ISO 38500 and COBIT, which are dedicated to the governance and implementation of IT governance and management in organizations. It also analyzed the references of other Universities in Spain and Colombia in which research has been carried out on IT governance and management. Quantitative non-experimental research was conducted; IT administration at the University of Cundinamarca was observed in its natural context and the head of the Ucundinamarca's Office of Systems and Technologies was interviewed and surveyed. As a general conclusion, it is expected that this work will be the starting point of the University's directives to carry out the implementation of the IT management model, and to become a competitive institution in the order of higher education in Colombia.
