El presente trabajo investigativo surge a partir de la identificaci?n de una problem?tica de tipo acad?mico en la Instituci?n Educativa Los Andes, en el municipio de Chigorod?-Colombia, referente a los bajos desempe?os de los estudiantes de grado d?cimo en la resoluci?n de problemas matem?ticos. Por esta raz?n, el objetivo general consisti? en formular una estrategia did?ctica para el mejoramiento de la resoluci?n de problemas matem?ticos, con los estudiantes de grado d?cimo de dicha instituci?n educativa. Durante este proceso, se utiliz? una metodolog?a con enfoque cualitativo, con tipo de dise?o Investigaci?n Acci?n y t?cnica de an?lisis de contenido, cuyo insumo fueron las respuestas dadas por seis informantes clave, en las que se identificaron dificultades en la comprensi?n verbal del problema, conceptualizaci?n y aplicaci?n incorrecta de conceptos y de procedimientos, heur?sticas y algoritmos. Como resultado, se construy? un procedimiento de intervenci?n de aula, a partir de los aprendizajes con dificultades, estructurado con tres momentos de clase, en el que se logr? evidenciar que los estudiantes obtuvieron un mejor desempe?o en los procesos de comprensi?n de enunciados del problema, as? como en la operacionalizaci?n y estructuraci?n de pasos heur?sticos. Adem?s, presentaron significativamente menos errores en pasos intermedios en la operatividad aritm?tico-algebraica de resoluci?n de problemas referidas a la algoritmizaci?n de operaciones b?sicas y ecuaciones lineales en contextos trigonom?tricos. Finalmente, pudo concluirse que las dificultades de los estudiantes asociadas a la comprensi?n, recordaci?n de conceptos, aplicaci?n de algoritmos para resolver problemas fueron mitigadas a trav?s de la aplicaci?n del plan de intervenci?n de aula dise?ado pertinentemente, con el cual se logr? que los estudiantes se detuvieran conscientemente a interpretar el problema, a asociarlo a saberes previos y en consecuencia, modelarlo y resolverlo.
This research work arises from the identification of an academic problem in the Los Andes Educational Institution, in the municipality of Chigorod?-Colombia, referring to the low performance of tenth grade students in solving mathematical problems. For this reason, the general objective consisted of formulating a didactic strategy for the improvement of the resolution of mathematical problems in the tenth grade students of said educational institution. During this process, a methodology with a qualitative approach was used, with the type of Action Research design and content analysis technique, whose input was the responses given by six key informants, in which difficulties were identified in verbal understanding of the problem, conceptualization and misapplication of concepts and procedures, heuristics, and algorithms. As a result, a classroom intervention procedure was built, based on learning with difficulties, structured with three moments of class, in which it was possible to show that students obtained a better performance in the processes of understanding the problem statements, as well as in the operationalization and structuring of heuristic steps. In addition, they presented significantly fewer errors in intermediate steps in the arithmetic-algebraic operation of solving problems related to the algorithmization of basic operations and linear equations in trigonometric contexts. Finally, it could be concluded that the students' difficulties associated with understanding, remembering concepts, and applying algorithms to solve problems were mitigated through the application of the appropriately designed classroom intervention plan, with which it was achieved that students consciously stop to interpret the problem, to associate it with previous knowledge and consequently, to model and solve it.
