Los sistemas de informaci?n (SI) basados en TIC juegan un papel muy importante en la sociedad, por ser una herramienta que apoya los procesos y permite mejorar la toma de decisiones cuando los problemas no son los habituales o no es posible contar con recurso humano para monitorear o desempe?ar las funciones. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo determinar el grado de satisfacci?n de un sistema de informaci?n basado en la web para la orientaci?n vocacional de los estudiantes de grado once en la Instituci?n Educativa los Morales de Tierralta C?rdoba ? Colombia, La metodolog?a consisti? en una investigaci?n aplicada con enfoque cuantitativo con dise?o descriptivo. El sistema de informaci?n para el apoyo a la orientaci?n vocacional basado en el test de Kuder, permite conocer las ?reas generales donde se sit?an los intereses y las preferencias de los estudiantes con respecto a su vocaci?n profesional. Esta estrategia did?ctica TIC coadyuva en el proceso de elecci?n de qu? carrera profesional estudiar, sirve como herramienta de apoyo a la Instituci?n Educativa Los Morales en su labor de asesor?a y acompa?amiento a los estudiantes sobre el futuro profesional. El sistema de informaci?n no pretende reemplazar alguna labor de orientaci?n vocacional, sino apoyarla, proporcionando la informaci?n necesaria en el momento oportuno con los reportes detallados y necesarios para la toma de decisi?n del estudiante. Los resultados presentan que un 92% de los estudiantes objeto de estudio, se encontraron satisfechos en el uso del sistema de informaci?n.
Information systems (IS) based on TIC play a very important role in society, as they are a tool that supports processes and allows better decision-making when problems are not the usual ones or it is not possible to have human resources to monitor or perform functions. This work documents the design of a Web-based IS as an ICT didactic strategy to support the vocational guidance of students. The methodology consisted of an applied research with a quantitative approach with an interpretive-descriptive design. The information system to support vocational guidance based on the Kuder test, allows to know the general areas where the interests and preferences of students are located with respect to their professional vocation. This TIC didactic strategy helps in the process of choosing which professional career to study, it serves as a support tool for the Los Morales Educational Institution in its work of advising and accompanying students on their professional future. The information system does not intend to replace any vocational guidance work, but rather to support it, providing the necessary information at the right time with the detailed reports necessary for the student's decision-making. The results show that 92% of the students under study were satisfied in the use of the information system.
