Inteligencia artificial y el proceso de ense?anza virtual a nivel universitario La diversidad de usos de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la educaci?n est? aumentando sin cesar y cada d?a se evidencia m?s la integraci?n con los diferentes m?todos de ense?anza aprendizaje, sobre todo en la educaci?n virtual. El presente trabajo de investigaci?n expone algunos pensamientos y reflexiones sobre esta relaci?n. Se presente primeramente una peque?a rese?a hist?rica sobre la creaci?n y evoluci?n de Inteligencia Artificial enfocada en las ?reas de aplicaci?n educativas y los elementos m?todos que sus usos podr?an aportar a la educaci?n superior; Luego, se hace referencia a las modalidades y caracter?sticas de la educaci?n virtual. Finalmente se presentan algunas conclusiones sobre la investigaci?n realizada.
The diversity of uses of artificial intelligence (AI) in education is growing steadily, although its generalization still seems a long way off. Despite the enormous opportunities that AI can offer to support teaching and learning, the variety of its uses in higher education carries numerous implications. This research work presents some thoughts and reflections on virtual education and the relationship that exists with artificial intelligence. First, a small historical review on the creation and evolution of Artificial Intelligence is presented, focused on the areas of educational application and the elements and methods that its uses could contribute to higher education; Then, reference is made to the modalities and characteristics of virtual education. Finally, some conclusions about the research carried out are presented.
