La Educaci?n comparada como disciplina tiene como eje fundamental la comparaci?n de los sistemas educativos en el contexto mundial, identificando los elementos que permean la educaci?n como proceso inherente a los ciudadanos de una sociedad que vela porque ?stos puedan ser agentes proactivos, dinamizadores en el desarrollo de su regi?n, pa?s o del mundo. El fen?meno de la globalizaci?n ha conllevado a estudiar de manera minuciosa todos los posibles factores que participan en este, asimismo generar pol?ticas que puedan ir de la mano a los cambios y exigencias que trae consigo vivir a pasos agigantados para estar preparados a las situaciones que emana la ciencia, tecnolog?a y la sociedad. Por ende, desde la educaci?n se requiere resignificar los prop?sitos, el curr?culo, la evaluaci?n, el rol de los actores entre otros aspectos cruciales, para que toda persona enfrente de forma asertiva los desaf?os del siglo XXI.
Comparative education as a discipline has as its fundamental axis the comparison of educational systems in the global context, identifying the elements that permeate education as a process inherent to citizens in a society that ensures that they can be proactive, dynamic agents in the development of their region, country or the world. The phenomenon of globalization has led to a detailed study of all the possible factors that participate in it, as well as generating policies that can go hand in hand with the changes and demands that come with living by leaps and bounds in order to be prepared for the situations that science, technology, and society bring. Therefore, from the point of view of education, it is necessary to resignify the purposes, the curriculum, the evaluation, the role of the actors, among other crucial aspects, so that every person can face the challenges of the 21st century in an assertive manner.
