El prop?sito de esta revisi?n bibliogr?fica es llegar al entendimiento de las implicaciones que tiene desconocer los riesgos psicosociales en el sector laboral, conceptualizando inicialmente los or?genes de los factores psicosociales y como los primeros autores en referirse a este t?rmino comenzaron a darle un valor haciendo ver que, si se cuida la salud del trabajador desde el aspecto no solo f?sico sino mental creando un ambiente laboral con las condiciones para un desarrollo integral, se puede extrapolar en la vida misma, m?s all? de las responsabilidades dentro del horario de trabajo. Se abordan las generalidades del t?rmino, los tipos de riesgos psicosociales que se presentan con mayor frecuencia en ambientes laborales diversos, sin excepci?n de la profesi?n que se ejerza y las consecuencias que se pueden presentar de no identificarlos a tiempo y atacar la causa ra?z que los mantiene prosperando y generando, por lo general, efectos negativos, ya sea para la organizaci?n, el trabajador o hasta la familia y el entorno personal. Haremos hincapi? en los colaboradores del sector salud, puesto que son ellos un n?mero importante de personas en todas las sociedades que van desde los m?dicos, enfermeras, laboratoristas, auxiliares, en fin, los que desempe?an su labor en pro de brindar salud para la poblaci?n, siendo profesiones de servicio para aquellos que tengan alteraciones en sus condiciones de bienestar y necesiten apoyo para recuperar un estado ?ptimo. Los profesionales de salud con la aparici?n de la pandemia en el a?o 2019 experimentaron una exposici?n directa con el sufrimiento de las personas, al tener saturados sus servicios de atenci?n, al desconocer en su momento el manejo adecuado frente al virus, lo que conllev? a tratar de salvar vidas en un ambiente en donde se perd?an muchas, notar la angustia de los familiares sin poder despedirse a tiempo de sus seres queridos y algunos pacientes que nunca volvieron a presentar signos de mejor?a desde su ingreso, todo sumado al nivel de estr?s que generaba, tampoco tener control sobre la protecci?n de la familia propia o de uno mismo. Al sumar todas estas variables se puede obtener como resultado una receta para el desastre aumentando la vulnerabilidad y exposici?n a situaciones de riesgo psicosocial, atentando contra la salud de los profesionales y perjudicando as? el desarrollo de sus funciones de forma objetiva y con la mente enfocada en su trabajo. Se detallar?n las consecuencias de estar expuesto mucho tiempo a estos riesgos y las medidas preventivas que se pueden aplicar en las empresas para minimizarlos. Al finalizar se presentar?n estudios realizados en otros pa?ses de la regi?n relacionados con los profesionales de salud y la presencia de riesgos psicosociales, concluyendo que sin importar la latitud en Latinoam?rica los hallazgos son muy semejantes en cuanto al impacto que tienen en los trabajadores, se analizar?n diversas metodolog?as de aplicaci?n a distintos grupos, pero con conclusiones muy relacionadas.
The purpose of this bibliographic review is to understand the implications of ignoring psychosocial risks in the labor sector, initially conceptualizing the origins of psychosocial factors and how the first authors to refer to this term began to value it by showing that If the health of the worker is taken care of from the physical but also mental aspect, creating a work environment with the conditions for an integral development, it can be extrapolated in life itself, beyond the responsibilities within the work schedule. The generalities of the term are addressed, the types of psychosocial risks that occur most frequently in diverse work environments, without exception of the profession that is practiced and the consequences that may arise if they are not identified in time and attack the root cause that them keeps prospering and generally generating negative effects either for the organization, the worker or even the family and personal environment. We will emphasize the collaborators of the health sector for representing a significant number of people in all societies ranging from doctors, nurses, laboratory workers, assistants, in short, those who carry out their work in favor of providing health for the population being professions of service for those who have alterations in their well-being conditions and need support to recover an optimal state. Health professionals with the appearance of the pandemic in 2019 experienced direct exposure to the suffering of people, having saturated their care services, not knowing at the time the proper management against the virus, which led to trying to save lives in an environment where many were lost, noticing the anguish of family members without being able to say goodbye to their loved ones on time and some patients who never showed signs of improvement since their admission, all added to the level of stress generated by not having control over the protection of one's own family or oneself, by adding all these variables, a recipe for disaster can be obtained as a result, increasing vulnerability and exposure to situations of psychosocial risk, threatening the health of professionals and thus harming development of your duties objectively and with your mind focused on your work. The consequences of being exposed for a long time to these risks and the preventive measures that can be applied in companies to minimize them will be detailed. At the end, studies carried out in other countries in the region related to health professionals and the presence of psychosocial risks will be presented, concluding that regardless of the latitude in Latin America, the findings are very similar in terms of the impact they have on workers, various application methodologies to different groups, but with closely related conclusions.
