Desde sus or?genes en 1969, curiosamente, a partir de una conexi?n entre computadoras de universidades en California, el uso de internet creci? en forma exponencial y al d?a hoy alcanza una penetraci?n del 93,1% a nivel mundial. Las nuevas generaciones de estudiantes que ingresan a las universidades buscan experiencias acad?micas memorables y profesores capaces de ir m?s all? del contenido; que sean conscientes de la situaci?n actual, emp?ticos, aliados y, sobre todo, humanos. Si bien ser h?bil en la tecnolog?a es un tanto obligatorio para estas ?pocas, eso no es lo que hace a un profesor brillar. Las emergencias siempre nos han unido m?s como personas y como seres humanos, y sucede igual en la educaci?n. Todos juntos, como equipo, lograremos superar los retos que esta pandemia nos ha tra?do. Se impuls? la investigaci?n y la creaci?n de recursos en temas de dise?o instruccional, estrategias de e-learning para el aula, el uso de herramientas de videoconferencia como Zoom y Google Meet, la definici?n de buenas pr?cticas docentes a distancia, as? como estrategias de evaluaci?n en l?nea para fomentar la integridad acad?mica.
Since its origins in 1969, curiously, from a connection between computers in California universities, the use of the Internet has grown exponentially and today it reaches a penetration of 93.1% worldwide. The new generations of students entering universities are looking for memorable academic experiences and teachers capable of going beyond the content; That they are aware of the current situation, empathic, allies and, above all, humans. While being tech savvy is a bit of a must for these times, that?s not what makes a teacher shine. Emergencies have always united us more as people and as human beings, and it is the same in education. All together, as a team, we will be able to overcome the challenges that this pandemic has brought us. Research was promoted and the creation of resources on issues of instructional design, e-learning strategies for the classroom, the use of videoconferencing tools such as Zoom and Google Meet, the definition of good distance teaching practices, as well as evaluation strategies online to promote academic integrity. ?New and more efficient solutions for existing problems.? Innovation is also used as an educational purpose, thus achieving one more channel for the educational purpose and not as an end in itself.
