Esta investigaci?n fue desarrollada en la Instituci?n Educativa Santa Rosa de Lima de la ciudad de Monter?a. El estudio estuvo encaminado al dise?o de un sistema de gesti?n de aprendizaje bajo la plataforma Moodle que responde a los requerimientos derivados del modelo pedag?gico. En indagaciones por el grupo investigativo no se encontraron indicios o trabajos desarrollados con el dise?o de sistemas gestores de aprendizajes por docentes, estudiantes o personal administrativo del plantel educativo. A partir de ese estudio existe la necesidad de dise?ar para el ?rea de inform?tica y tecnolog?a, la educaci?n virtual (B-learning), mediante la creaci?n de cursos virtuales, que permitan mejorar los procesos educativos en sus diferentes tem?ticas. Lo anterior es posible, ya que se cuenta con las herramientas necesarias y el personal capacitado para dise?ar un sistema gestor de aprendizaje basado en Moodle, con el fin de apoyar los procesos de ense?anza y aprendizaje de las distintas ?reas que hacen parte del curr?culo, y que est?n a la vanguardia de las nuevas tecnolog?as de la informaci?n. El presente trabajo se encuentra dividido en dos fases, la primera en la que se describe todo el proceso investigativo, objetivos, justificaci?n, problem?tica, dise?o metodol?gico, entre otros aspectos. La segunda parte, incluye la estrategia metodol?gica, la propuesta y el producto final, el cual es el sistema de gesti?n de aprendizaje en Moodle. El estudio concluye que, con el uso de las Tics en la educaci?n puede lograr despertar el inter?s en los estudiantes y profesores por la investigaci?n cient?fica y posibilitar el mejoramiento de las habilidades creativas, la imaginaci?n, habilidades comunicativas y colaborativas, logrando acceder a mayor cantidad de informaci?n y proporcionando los medios para un mejor desarrollo integral de los individuos. This research was developed at Instituci?n Educativa Santa Rosa de Lima in the city of Monteria. The study was aimed at the design of a learning management system under the Moodle platform that responds to the requirements derived from the pedagogical model. In inquiries by the research group, there were no signs or works developed with the design of learning management systems by teachers, students or administrative staff of the educational establishment. From this study, there is a need to design virtual education (B-learning) for the area of computer science and technology, through the creation of virtual courses that allow improving educational processes in their different subjects. The above is possible, since it has the necessary tools and trained personnel to design a learning management system based on Moodle, in order to support the teaching and learning processes of the different areas that are part of the curriculum, and that are at the forefront of new information technologies The present work is divided into two phases. In the first, it is described the entire research process, objectives, justification, problems, methodological design, among other aspects. The second part includes the methodological strategy, the proposal and the final product, which is the learning management system in Moodle. The study concludes that, with the use of Tics in education, it can raise interest in students and teachers by scientific research and enable the improvement of creative skills, imagination, communication and collaborative skills, gaining access to a greater amount of information and providing the means for a better integral development of the individuals.
