La trazabilidad como estrategia implementada en el primer nivel de atenci?n en respuesta a la pandemia por la Covid-19, en la Rep?blica de Panam?

A nivel mundial, los diferentes sistemas de salud p?blica, especialmente en lo que a la atenci?n primaria se refiere, han sido seriamente afectados por el SARS-CoV-2. En Am?rica Latina, en la regi?n Centroam?rica, espec?ficamente en la Rep?blica de Panam?, se implementaron varias pol?ticas de prevenci?n ante el avance de la pandemia. Seg?n el Centro de Control y Prevenci?n de Enfermedades (CDC), la mejor estrategia consiste en evitar la exposici?n al virus. China nos ha ense?ado que la cuarentena, el distanciamiento social y aislamiento de las poblaciones pueden contener la pandemia. Este estudio tiene como finalidad establecer, de manera transparente, el manejo, en fase primaria, de la pandemia por la COVID-19 en Panam?, mediante los mecanismos de contenci?n de la infecci?n viral. Para la realizaci?n de este informe, se revis? la bibliograf?a de art?culos cient?ficos publicados entre los meses de marzo de 2020 a diciembre del mismo a?o. Estos fueron utilizados como referencia para conocer el manejo de la Covid-19, y las medidas de prevenci?n en la regi?n latinoamericana. Para inicios de la pandemia, el ?ndice de Reproducci?n Efectiva (RT) se estimaba arriba de 5 %; con la implementaci?n de la Trazabilidad, para los meses de septiembre y octubre de 2020 oscilaba entre 0,96 a 0,98; sin embargo, para diciembre del mismo a?o, ocho provincias marcaban RT arriba de 1, con desborde hospitalario. La aplicaci?n de la trazabilidad, conlleva una gran inversi?n, planeaci?n interinstitucional, apoyo comunitario; adem?s de funcionar en poblaciones muy articuladas y no numerosas.
Worldwide, different public health systems, especially in primary care, have been seriously affected by SARS-CoV-2. In Latin America, in the Central American region, specifically in the Republic of Panama, several prevention policies were implemented in the face of the advance of the pandemic. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the best strategy is to avoid exposure to the virus; China has taught us that quarantine, social distancing and isolation of populations can contain the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to establish in a transparent manner, what has been the management in the primary phase of the COVID-19 pandemic in Panama, through the containment mechanisms of the viral infection. To carry it out, the bibliographic review of scientific articles published between the months of March 2020 to June 2021 will be taken into account, being used as a reference to know the management of Covid-19, and prevention measures in our region Latin American. At the beginning of the pandemic the RT was estimated above 5%, with the implementation of Traceability for the months of September, October 2020 it ranged from 0.96 to 0.98, however, by december 8 provinces marked RT above of 1 with hospitable overflow. Its application involves a large investment, inter-institutional planning, community support, as well as working in highly articulated and not numerous populations.
