Efectos del Covid-19 en los servicios sanitarios en Latinoam?rica

El objetivo de este ensayo fue realizar una investigaci?n documental referente a los efectos del COVID -19 en los servicios sanitarios de algunos pa?ses Latinoamericanos. Se trata de una investigaci?n documental te?rica descriptiva, basada en la b?squeda exhaustiva de art?culos cient?ficos originales, con t?picos referentes al COVID-19 y los servicios sanitarios de los pa?ses Latinoamericanos, entre ellos Panam?, publicados entre marzo 2020 y mayo 2021, en espa?ol e ingl?s, indexados en diferentes bases de datos como Pub Med, Google Academic, bvs, Scielo ; se utilizaron descriptores de la ciencia de la salud (DeCS) y ?efecto? ?COVID-19?, ?servicios sanitarios?, ?atenci?n primaria? del Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) como: ?effect?, ?COVID-19?, ?health System? ?primary care?. Los operadores booleanos utilizados fueron de intersecci?n (AND) y (OR). Adem?s, se utiliz? el gestor Zotero. La respuesta de los sistemas sanitarios de los 18 pa?ses latinoamericanos estudiados en relaci?n con los efectos de la pandemia COVID 19 son las medidas p?blicas sanitarias, detecci?n temprana de casos sospechosos, en relaci?n con la atenci?n primaria en 2020, se observa reducci?n en las coberturas de los servicios de atenci?n obst?trica en los pa?ses latinoamericano donde 8 (44%) cancelaron la atenci?n y 7 (39%) la conservaron, en la atenci?n prenatal 10 (56%) cumplieron la atenci?n y 6 (33%) cancelaron la atenci?n; sin embargo, en la atenci?n preventiva de ni?os, 12 (67%) cumplieron la atenci?n. Es indispensable fortalecer la estrategia de la atenci?n primaria de salud, con enfoque familiar y comunitario, organizado para lograr el acceso universal a la salud, adem?s estimular los programas preventivos y educativos.
The objective of this trial was to carry out a documentary investigation regarding the effects of COVID-19 in the health services of some Latin American countries. It is a descriptive theoretical documentary research, based on an exhaustive search for original scientific articles, with topics related to COVID-19 and the health services of Latin American countries, including Panama, published between March 2020 and May 2021, in Spanish and English, indexed in different databases such as Pub Med, Google Academic, bvs, Scielo; Descriptors of health science (DeCS) and ?effect? ?COVID-19?, ?health services?, ?primary care? from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) were used as: ?effect?, ?COVID-19?, ?Health System? ?primary care?. The Boolean operators used were intersection (AND) and (OR). In addition, the Zotero manager was used. The response of the health systems of the 18 Latin American countries studied in relation to the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic are public health measures, early detection of suspected cases, in relation to primary care in 2020, there is a reduction in coverage of obstetric care services in Latin American countries where 8 (44%) canceled care and 7 (39%) kept it, in prenatal care 10 (56%) complied and 6 (33%) canceled care; however, in the preventive care of children, 12 (67%) complied with the care. It is essential to strengthen the strategy of primary health care, with a family and community approach, organized to achieve universal access to health, in addition to stimulating preventive and educational programs.
