En b?squeda de la protecci?n de los territorios Ambientales tipo Humedales: Una revisi?n documental

Resumen El presente art?culo tiene como fin describir los procesos de protecci?n medioambientales planificados por los Organismos Gubernamentales (OG) y Organizaciones No Gubernamentales (ONG) destinados a conservar los territorios ambientales tipo humedales. Para ello, este documento presenta a manera de introducci?n, acciones a nivel mundial para enfrentar la crisis clim?tica y los da?os ambientales que afronta el planeta. Luego se hace una clasificaci?n y posterior recorrido conceptual de los cuerpos de agua existentes en el mundo, la problem?tica que afrontan por efectos de la contaminaci?n y las estrategias que han empleado algunas naciones y empresas multinacionales para mitigar dicho impacto. Para el desarrollo del estudio se opt? por un enfoque cualitativo y m?todo de investigaci?n descriptivo mediante estrategias de revisi?n documental desde el ?mbito internacional y nacional, as? como aportes de proyectos institucionales locales. Esta revisi?n documental es de suma importancia porque muestra la necesidad de, por un lado, saber cu?les son las pol?ticas gubernamentales y no gubernamentales que apuntan a la protecci?n de los cuerpos de agua. Por otro, invita al empoderamiento y participaci?n de proyectos y actividades que buscan atenuar la huella del hombre en el medio ambiente. Dentro de los resultados del an?lisis se evidencia que la m?xima promotora de estrategias en contra del deterioro ambiental es la Organizaci?n de Naciones Unidas (ONU) y su propuesta de sostenibilidad ambiental a trav?s de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), plan al se le unen algunas empresas y ONG. Sin embargo, algunas naciones con sus pol?ticas econ?micas ponen a grandes industrias y la sobreexplotaci?n de recursos naturales por encima del bien com?n.
Abstract The purpose of this article is to describe the environmental protection processes planned by governmental and non-governmental organizations to conserve wetland-type environmental territories. To this end, this document presents, by way of introduction, worldwide actions to face the climate crisis and the environmental damages the planet is facing. Then a classification and subsequent conceptual tour of the existing bodies of water in the world, the problems they face due to the effects of pollution and the strategies that some nations and multinational companies have used to mitigate such impact is made. Therefore, for the development of the study, a qualitative approach and descriptive research method was chosen through documentary review strategies from the international and national levels, as well as contributions from local institutional projects. This documentary review is of utmost importance because it shows the need, on the one hand, to know which are the governmental and non-governmental policies aimed at the protection of water bodies. On the other hand, it invites to empowerment and participation in projects and activities that seek to mitigate the human footprint on the environment. The results of the analysis shows that the main promoter of strategies against environmental deterioration is the United Nations (UN) and its proposal for environmental sustainability through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a plan that is joined by some companies and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). However, some nations with their economic policies put large industries and the overexploitation of natural resources above the good of the community.
