Degluci?n at?pica: Una revisi?n

Description: Estudio retrospectivo de revision bibliogr?fica sobre degluci?n at?pica o infantil, cuyo prop?sito fue realizar una puesta al d?a sobre su etiolog?a, secuelas, diagn?stico y tratamiento a partir de la literatura publicada en los ?ltimos 20 a?os. De dicha indagaci?n, se concluye que la degluci?n at?pica es un h?bito relativamente frecuente en la poblaci?n infantil, que cursa preferentemente como interposici?n lingual, objetivable a la evaluaci?n cl?nica fonoaudiol?gica cuyo tratamiento va a depender de la edad, caracter?sticas del paciente y consecuencias asociadas, con la intervenci?n de un equipo interdisciplinario que garantice la rehabilitaci?n del paciente.
Retrospective study of literature review on atypical or infant swallowing, whose purpose was to update the etiology, sequelae, diagnosis and treatment from the literature published in the last 20 years. From this inquiry, it is concluded that atypical swallowing is a relatively frequent habit in children, which preferably occurs as a lingual interposition, objectivable to clinical evaluation in speech pathologist ,whose treatment will depend on age, patient characteristics and associated consequences, with the intervention of an interdisciplinary team that guarantees the rehabilitation of the patient.
