En este trabajo se estará presentando los diferentes datos recopilados a lo largo del trayecto del senderismo, en sus manos se encontrará el estudio de diferentes tipos de árboles y su familia perteneciente, beneficios y utilidades que se le pueden dar obteniendo el mejor provecho de cada uno. En el Data Set se encuentra las ubicaciones aproximada entre cada uno de ellos teniendo en cuenta su promedio recopilado entre los diferentes grupos de trabajo y gráficas en donde se puede visualizar las diferencias.
Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá campus contains 56 terrain hectares, where around 50 or more species of fauna & flora can be found, inside the natural paths created in the forestal zone inside the campus. Localizing accurately each interesting point inside the campus has proven to be a high-cost task, considering the amount of human and time resource needed. The forestal path are open to public, but most of the visitors can’t even enjoy fully of the ecosystem. This occurs mostly because the lack of knowledge about the species inside the trails. The project aims to solve this by developing a guide and repository of interesting points inside the campus, with information coming directly from the people that actually do everyday work inside the trails about general flora in the forest but can’t manage to share this information publicly without a established platform to do so. GeoTree is born from an initiative that wants to include all the university community in GPS tagging interesting points inside the campus.
