INTERACTIVE SYSTEM TO ASSISTANCE PHYSIOTHERAPY ́S PATIENT

Description: The Project consists of a computer system whose purpose is the interaction of a physiotherapy patient with it. The concept starts with the use of cameras and depth sensors, together with image recognition and data processing algorithms in order to position human joints in a data stream that can be used by the system to display biofeedback, aiming to help the therapist in the angle measurement process on these joints, and guiding the patient in the correct way to run the therapy exercise that is assigned to him.
El proyecto consiste en un sistema computarizado cuya finalidad es la de la interacción de un paciente de fisioterapia con el mismo. El concepto parte del uso de cámaras y sensores de profundidad en conjunto con algoritmos de reconocimiento de imágenes y procesamiento de datos, para el posicionamiento de articulaciones humanas en un flujo de datos que pueda ser utilizado por el sistema para mostrar biofeedback, con el objetivo de ayudar al fisioterapeuta en el procedimiento de mediciones de ángulos en dichas articulaciones, y de guiar al paciente en la manera correcta de ejecutar el ejercicio de terapia que se le asigna.
