Este estudio tiene por objeto la baja calidad educativa p?blica en la b?sica y secundaria en la ciudad de Medell?n. Datos Institucionales as? lo corroboran, la gran mayor?a de estudiantes no logran la media en las pruebas Pisa: no saben leer, escribir, sumar, restar, ni tampoco poseen conocimientos b?sicos en ciencias. Otro dato revelador de pa?s: el 56 por ciento de los estudiantes no logran graduarse como bachilleres. A todo esto se conoce como el fracaso de la escuela. Adentrados en los an?lisis, se devela dos tipos de escuela, una estandarizada y la otra es la educaci?n en contexto. La primera procura por saberes estandarizados propios del mundo globalizado, la segunda por el contrario promueve saberes locales de cada cultura. Ambas se pretenden oponibles pero en este estudio se las ve complementarias, lo global y lo local son dos caras de la misma moneda. Son l?gicas distintas como el Goo Bird, p?jaro que construye el nido al rev?s y vuela para atr?s, porque no le importa ad?nde va, sino d?nde estuvo (Borges). La discusi?n ser? centrada m?s bien en explicar las razones de por qu? la escuela produce tanta exclusi?n, y la respuesta no es otra que el mundo actual de la producci?n no requiere tanta mano de obra en las cantidades que prepara la escuela y por ello mismo opera como filtro o colador, dejando a muchos estudiantes por fuera y asegurando tan solo a unos pocos para sus empresas. Llegados a este punto... ?qu? hacer ante este drama? Damos una soluci?n denominada Paideia para la Vida y que tiene en cuenta las dos capas que le precedieron que son la Paideia griega de la participaci?n pol?tica y la otra es la paideia del mundo moderno del trabajo. La que se propone comporta aprender a vivir ante esta nueva realidad y ac? se involucran tres espacios en los que se desarrolla un individuo, son ellos: La Familia, La Escuela y El Estado, una tr?ada solidaria, todo lo que le pasa a un de ellas rebota en las dem?s, por eso la mirada en su conjunto en esta propuesta en consideraci?n.
The objective of this study is the low quality of public education in elementary and secondary schools in the city of Medell?n. Institutional data corroborate this, the vast majority of students do not achieve the average in the Pisa tests: they do not know how to read, write, add, subtract, nor do they have basic knowledge in science. Another revealing data from the country: 56 percent of students fail to graduate as high school graduates. All of this is known as the failure of the school. Delved into the analysis, two types of school are revealed, one traditional and the other is education in context. The first seeks standardized knowledge typical of the globalized world, the second, on the contrary, promotes local knowledge of each culture. Both are intended to be opposable but in this study they are seen as complementary, the global and the local are two sides of the same coin. They are different logics like the Goo Bird, a bird that builds the nest upside down and flies backwards, because it doesn't care where it goes, but where it was (Borges). Rather, the discussion will focus on explaining the reasons why the school produces so much exclusion, and the answer is none other than the current world of production does not require so much labor in the quantities that the school prepares and therefore operates as a filter or strainer, leaving many students out and securing only a few for their companies. At this point ... what to do about this drama? We give a solution called Paideia for Life and that takes into account the two layers that preceded it, which are the Greek Paideia of political participation and the other is the paideia of the modern world of work. The one that is proposed involves learning to live before this new reality and here three spaces are involved in which an individual develops, they are: The Family, The School and The State, a solidary triad, everything that happens to one of they bounce off the others, that is why the overall look at this proposal under consideration.
