La Educaci?n en Am?rica Latina y del Caribe: una mirada a Colombia, Chile y Panam?

La educaci?n en Am?rica Latina y el Caribe ha mostrado algunos cambios que surgen desde la creaci?n y adopci?n de algunas pol?ticas p?blicas de los pa?ses que la conforma, algunos logran avanzar y mejorar con mayor rapidez que sus vecinos; aunque muchos de los problemas o dificultades que precisan superar, se replican entre varios de estos, la soluci?n no es igual debido a la diversidad de los territorios y a las diferencias contextuales. El presente ensayo hace un recorrido por las caracter?sticas y diferencias presentes entre 3 pa?ses de Latino Am?rica y el Caribe: Colombia, Chile y Panam?, adem?s se analiza la organizaci?n de sus sistemas educativos, a partir de algunas de las pol?ticas implementadas para la soluci?n de problem?ticas espec?ficas, el an?lisis de resultados en pruebas internacionales y avances en diferentes aspectos y metas que se proponen, para logar encontrarse a la vanguardia de los avances mundiales y requerimientos de las nuevas sociedades; sin perder de vista su identidad como pa?s, pero teniendo en cuenta las orientaciones y gu?a que algunas organizaciones mundiales como la Organizaci?n de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), Organizaci?n de las Naciones Unidas para la Educaci?n, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO) y la Organizaci?n para la Cooperaci?n y el Desarrollo Econ?mico (OCDE), les brindan al centrar sus esfuerzos en ayudara al mejoramiento de la calidad y equidad educativa del mundo; al tener como meta la importancia de garantizar la educaci?n para todos. Finalmente, se puede concluir que cada pa?s ha logrado avanzar hacia el mejoramiento educativo de sus ciudadanos, que las leyes y pol?ticas precisan convertirse en acciones que permitan vivenciar el cambio; aunque se encuentren alejados de los logros de otros pa?ses como los europeos, aun existe la esperanza en este continente de alcanzar grandes metas desde trabajo de toda la comunidad.
Education in Latin America and the Caribbean has shown some changes that have arisen since the creation and adoption of some public policies of the countries that comprise it. Some manage to advance and improve more quickly than their neighbors; Although many of the problems or difficulties that need to be overcome are replicated among several of them, the solution is not the same due to the diversity of the territories and the contextual differences. This essay takes a tour of the characteristics and differences present between 3 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean: Colombia, Chile and Panama, and also analyzes the organization of their educational systems, based on some of the policies implemented to solve specific problems, the analysis of results in international tests and advances in different aspects and goals that are proposed, to achieve being at the forefront of world advances and requirements of new societies; without losing sight of its identity as a country, but taking into account the orientations and guidance that some world organizations such as the United Nations (UN), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), provide them by focusing their efforts on helping to improve the quality and equity of education in the world; having as a goal the importance of guaranteeing education for all. Finally, it can be concluded that each country has managed to advance towards the educational improvement of its citizens, that laws and policies need to become actions that allow to experience change; Although they are far from the achievements of other countries such as Europeans, there is still hope in this continent to achieve great goals from the work of the entire community.
