Proposal of a "Drone" agent to mitigate infractions of traffic-type traffic on the shoulders, on the Inter-American Highway, specifically from the Puma de Rousseau station to the Xtra de Arraiján and viceversa

This research project studies the bad practice of traveling on the shoulders that is affecting mainly the Western Panama Area. At the same time, a project idea is proposed to mitigate the problem supported by a technological alternative thanks to advances in computing, digital electronics, artificial intelligence, among others. The main objectives of the "Drone Agent" project are the following: automate the management of inspection, modernize the process of application of tickets, reduce the number of infractions and at the same time eradicate the bribe for this type of infraction. Our hypothesis says: "50% or more of the drivers who pass through the shoulders are not sanctioned", the focus of the research is quantitative and the methodology has a cross-sectional design. We apply instruments such as the survey, observation in the field, among other research instruments. In addition, we identify the basic requirements to carry out the project in the study section and investigate current technologies using as reference the largest companies in terms of design and development of technologies for "Drone".
Este proyecto de investigación estudia la mala práctica de transitar por los hombros que está afectando principalmente el área de Panamá Oeste, y a la vez presentamos una idea de proyecto como propuesta para mitigar el problema apoyado en una alternativa tecnológica gracias a los avances de la computación, la electrónica digital, la inteligencia artificial, entre otros. Los objetivos principales del proyecto Agente “Drone” son los siguientes: automatizar la gestión de inspección, modernizar el proceso de aplicación de boletas, disminuir la cantidad de infracciones y a la vez erradicar la coima para este tipo de infracción. Nuestrahipótesis dice: “El 50% o más de los conductores que transitan por los hombros no son sancionados”, el enfoque de la investigación es cuantitativo y la metodología tiene un diseño transversal, aplicamos instrumentos como la encuesta, observación en campo, entre otros instrumentos de investigación. Además, identificamos los requerimientos básicos para llevar a cabo el proyecto en el tramo del estudio e investigamos sobre las tecnologías actuales usando como referencia las empresas más grandes en cuanto a diseño y desarrollo de tecnologías para “Drone” se refiere. También investigamos sobre las aplicaciones en otros países y los indicadores van en incremento, no solo en los países más desarrollados. Entre las principales aplicaciones encontramos implementaciones en los sectores: agricultura, seguridad pública, logística, y otros.
