En nuestra investigaci?n te?rica titulada Capacitaci?n de operadores agr?colas en el uso de maquinarias y su influencia en el nivel de accidentes laborales, buscamos conocer si en el tipo de trabajo realizado por los trabajadores agr?colas existen capacitaciones previas al inicio de la actividad en este caso particular los operadores agr?colas, quienes se encargan de utilizar equipos y herramientas para realizar las labores de desmonte, fumigaci?n, siembra, fertilizaci?n, entre otras labores, propias del cultivo de productos agr?colas. En la realizaci?n de las labores diarias de los trabajadores est?n expuestos a riesgos laborales relacionados con el ruido y las vibraciones asociados con el uso de maquinaria, el empleo de contaminantes qu?micos, el manejo de cargas y las posturas forzadas, el trabajo a la intemperie, el contacto con animales y sus productos y/o desechos, etc?tera. Muchos de los riesgos tienen su origen en la poca preparaci?n por parte del trabajador, generalmente producida por falta de formaci?n e informaci?n, por familiaridad con la tarea, lo que hace que los riesgos no sean percibidos como tales y, en ocasiones, por descuido y falta de precauci?n. Uno de los inconvenientes existentes a la hora de intentar mejorar las condiciones de seguridad y salud en los trabajos agr?colas es la variedad de tareas que debe realizar un operador agr?cola, con diferentes herramientas, m?quinas, productos, entre otros, y alteraciones de la salud producidos como consecuencia de la actividad laboral, as? como sus causas. Por ello, es conveniente destacar la necesidad de concienciar a los trabajadores del sector para avanzar hacia la mejora de las condiciones laborales en los trabajos agr?colas.
In our theoretical research entitled Training of agricultural operators in the use of machinery and its influence on the level of occupational accidents, we seek to know if in the type of work carried out by agricultural workers there are training prior to the start of the activity in this particular case the agricultural operators, who are in charge of using equipment and tools to carry out the work of clearing, fumigation, sowing, fertilization, among other tasks, typical of the cultivation of agricultural products. In carrying out the daily work of workers, they are exposed to occupational risks related to noise and vibrations associated with the use of machinery, the use of chemical pollutants, the handling of loads and forced postures, working outdoors, contact with animals and their products and / or waste, etc. Many of the risks have their origin in the little preparation on the part of the worker, generally produced by lack of training and information, by familiarity with the task, which means that the risks are not perceived as such and, sometimes, by carelessness and lack of caution. One of the existing drawbacks when trying to improve health and safety conditions in agricultural work is the variety of tasks that an agricultural operator must perform, with different tools, machines, products, among others, and health alterations produced as a consequence of work activity, as well as its causes. Therefore, it is convenient to highlight the need to raise awareness among workers in the sector to move towards improving working conditions in agricultural work.
