Una estrategia para fortalecer la comprensi?n lectora a trav?s de procesos creativos en los estudiantes de grado sexto en la Instituci?n Educativa Fagua

Esta investigaci?n se encuentra direccionada en la l?nea ?Educaci?n y Sociedad?, en el ?rea de Docencia y Curr?culo, bajo el eje tem?tico ?Eje y Estrategias Trasversales Curriculares? de la Universidad Metropolitana de Educaci?n, Ciencia y Tecnolog?a (UMECIT). As?, se plante? la pregunta ?c?mo fortalecer la comprensi?n lectora a trav?s de procesos creativos en los estudiantes de grado sexto de la Instituci?n Educativa Fagua? El objetivo general se direccion? a describir el uso de la creatividad como estrategia pedag?gica para fortalecer la comprensi?n lectora en los estudiantes de grado sexto de la Instituci?n Educativa Fagua en Ch?a. As? mismo, se logr? conocer los niveles de comprensi?n lectora de los ni?os de grado sexto e identificar las causas que generan una baja comprensi?n lectora y formular una propuesta que fortalezca la comprensi?n lectora a trav?s de procesos creativos. Se desarroll? desde un paradigma positivista con un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo. Como instrumentos de recolecci?n de datos, se utiliz? una prueba diagn?stica y un cuestionario aplicado a los estudiantes de grado sexto, un cuestionario aplicados a los docentes y observaciones de clase. Entre los resultados se destaca la falta de inter?s por parte de los estudiantes hacia la lectura lo cual genera poca comprensi?n al momento de leer. Adem?s, se logr? descubrir que aunque la instituci?n educativa vincula la lectura en su Proyecto Educativo Institucional, esta no tiene el mayor espacio en el aula de clase. La propuesta presentada estuvo conformada por tres momentos: el primero, ?explorar el texto? donde el estudiante tiene un primer acercamiento con el texto; el segundo, ?leer el texto? que se basa en una lectura grupal del texto donde se asumen roles y se descubren detalles; finalmente, ?presentar el texto? que consiste en la presentaci?n del texto por parte del estudiante ante sus compa?eros de manera creativa.
This investigation is directed to the system of education and society research, in the area of teaching and curriculum, under the thematic axis and cross-curricular strategies of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT). From this perspective, the question was asked: How to strengthen reading comprehension through creative processes in the sixth grade students of the Fagua Educational Institution? The general objective was: describe the use of creativity as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen reading comprehension in the sixth grade students of the Fagua Educational Institution. Likewise, it was possible to know the reading comprehension levels of the sixth grade children and identify the causes that generate a low reading comprehension and formulate a proposal to strengthen the reading comprehension through the creative processes of the sixth grade students. It was developed from a positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach of a descriptive type. Likewise, a diagnostic test was used for the sixth grade students, surveys were carried out with teachers and students of that grade level. In addition, class observations were used as data collection instruments. The results show a lack of interest on the part of the students towards reading which generates little understanding when reading. In addition, it is possible to discover that although the educational institution links reading in its Institutional Educational Project, it does not have the greatest space in the classroom. The proposal presented is formed by three moments: the first, called "explore the text", which consists of the student having a first approach to the text; the second, "read the text" which is based on a group reading of the text where the student must assume roles and discover details; and finally, "present the text" which consists in the presentation of the text by the student to his companions in a creative way.
